2015 has been a better year for rectotec with amongst other
things, the completion of my new website. A massive thank you must go out to Jason
Brown of BARDOCreative for all his hard work, but most of all, his
patience.
I’ve published 8 blogs (link)
and I am currently writing another which should be posted by the weekend,
although I have many more in the pipeline for when when I have time. I’ve taught a number of BSAC classes around
the country (diver and instructor level) however as usual, my
day job in the Army has got in the way and I’ve had to cancel BSAC
Sports Diver and
Dive
Leader courses, a TDI Intro to Tech course and a PADI instructor upgrade. I was again however a
Safety Diver at TekCamp (blog),
passed my Project Plan of my BSAC
First Class Diver, and became a PADI
Tec Rec instructor
(Tec 40).
I’ve also managed to dive along the south coast in Plymouth
and Porthkerris.
2016 starts on a high with a TDI
Intro to Tech course on Saturday
and then straight into BSAC
Sports Diver and
Dive
Leader courses in Cyprus on Tuesday, a BSAC
Dive Leader course in February, a TDI AN/DP course in March followed by a Scapa
trip in April, 4x Plymouth weekends confirmed, my BSAC
First Class Diver practical exam in
July and possibly a trip to Malta. I
need to look at a a PADI Tec Rec instructor upgrade
and I hope to again be at TekCamp. You will probably also see me on the TDI
stand at the NEC Dive Show and at EuroTek 2016. But as always this is all based on work not
getting in the way.
As always, I’m happy to arrange courses and any time to
suit you. Why not contact me for some
special deals on TDI
training, as this is the direction I wish to expand into.
Best Wishes, and safe diving in 2016.
The
boring bit!
All opinions
expressed in my articles are my own and may differ to other instructor’s and
agency guidelines; by no means are they wrong and I would not wish to disrepute
any of them. This article is for
information only and should not replace proper training.
Safe diving!
